Dead Horse Point State Park

On the way home from Arches we stopped at Dead Horse Point State Park. It is like a little Grand Canyon in Utah. It was AWESOME!!!

Arches National Park

The first week of June we took a great three day trip to Arches National Park. It was the first time any of us had been there, and we LOVED it. We also took the motor home on it's maiden voyage! Below is a jumble of pictures, of our really fun trip!

Dinner outside the motor home.

Chill'in in the motor home!

More sand.

Of course swimming at the campground was a hit.

Cute bubs modeling "park avenue" look out.

Grandma and Papa and beautiful delicate arch.

Brynn loved the motor home!

The whole fam at park avenue.

Mary under Sand Dune Arch

Hiking to Landscape Arch

Mom and Mary at Landscape Arch - longer than a football field!

Cute kids who all made the hike up to Delicate.

Mary's End of the 4th Grade!

Mary ended one of her best years yet!

Alex, Chrissy, and Punk'in come to Visit!

We were so lucky to have my high school friend Chrissy and her husband Alex, and new baby Sol come visit us in May.

Alex was so good with kids. He played with the whole neighborhood!

Kelsey loved "punk'in" as he is affectionately known as.

We got some good smiles out of him!

It was so fun to have this darling family come play for a couple days!!

Our Funny Bubs!

Spring provided us with several funny pictures of our bubbles....like this one! She insisted that the right way to wear glasses is upside down.

Getting ready for the Zoo with cousin "Trey - Trey"

Being silly with her neighbor friend Julia.

I found her in the pantry like this...sneaking snacks and reading a book. Actually sounds kind of nice!

Isn't she sweet...and beautiful? She is our little spit fire and we love it!!!

Lucy Graduates from Kindergarten!

I can't believe my little Lucy is already done with Kindergarten. I love kindergarten. I love that they are in school learning and growing, but I love that I still get them part of the day. Because of all that, and that the fact your child is growing up is being thrown in your face, Kindergarten Graduation is always emotional. Lucy however thoroughly enjoyed the fan fare of the day!

With Miss Mellor, a WONDERFUL Kindergarten teacher.

With Peyton...how many cousins get to be in the same Kindergarten class? Overall I think it was a fun experience for them.

With Emma and Alex, great friends and trusty carpool buddies.

Part of Graduation is a darling program with singing and sign language. It was wonderful, my pictures however were not.

Mary's Choir Concert and Wax Museum

Mary and Erika were so embarrassed that they had to walk this car all over the stage while they sang the Beach Boys "t-bird" song.

Mary also had her "Wax Museum" in May. Erika, Mary, and Sydney were the Osborn sisters from Magna, Utah.

She got pretty into the whole thing (as you can see by the red wig), and did a great job on her monologue and brochure.

Spring Soccer 2011

Another fun Soccer season came to a close. Here is Lucy with her "star of soccer" award (their team was the Stars). She also enjoyed and was pretty good at playing goalie.

Peyton would have been in this picture except she was throwing up - she literally played her guts out that last game!

Kindergarten Zoo Field Trip

The Zoo Field Trip is always so exciting for the kids. This was an especially fun day for Peyton and Lucy to be in the same class, because Katie and I got to take the kids to the zoo together. We got really lucky with seeing some very active animals, the gorilla was especially playful, and they got to see the elephant pee! It was a really fun day.
