Mason is blessed

On October 10th Corey and Jessica blessed new baby Mason. We took a very quick trip down for the event. We left on Saturday after Mary's soccer game, and game home Sunday evening. We took Uncle Berty with us, which was very fun. It was a quick trip, but it was a lot of fun to see family and sweet baby Mason. Three generations...Papa, Corey, Mason.
The weather was perfect! and the kids enjoyed lounging in it. Here they are drinking their punch!
Papa helping Mason ride the power wheels...he's only three months!

The girls got some new sunglasses for .20 each at Children's Place...they had fun with them.

A quick but full trip as evidenced by 4 sleeing girls on the way home! That almost never happens.

Spanish Fork Dragons

Mary is part of the Spanish Fork Dragons AA Soccer team. This is their second season, and they are an awesome little team, with an awesome coach. They finished this season in a very solid 2nd place, and their only loss was to the 1st place team. Mary scored a few goals (i think 4?) this season, and just loves playing soccer. The Dragons, with coach Jared and assistant coach Mary.

They are a fun bunc of girls!

I just loved this picture of Mary.
This is Mary and her good friend Erika.
GO DRAGONS!!

Callie

After tons and tons of begging, we finally decided to get a pet. We had to go low maintenence, so we got a bunny. She is some kind of dwarf bunny, so she is cute and small and will stay that way. The girls named her Callie. So far she has a been a nice addition to the family (altough its only been about three weeks).

Lucy plays soccer!

In Spanish Fork you can play soccer once you are in Kindergarten. So after watching sisters for a few years, Lucy was all over it. She loved it, and was lucky enough to be on the same team as both her cousin Peyton and friend Emma. I actually work with their coach Greg, and he was great with them. Lucy did some twirling in the field, and lots of high fives, but toward the end of the season she was more into it. She was an AWESOME goalie. She was quite agressive and wasn't afraid to jump right on the ball. She played goalie quite a bit and had only one score on her the whole season.
Go Goalie! The Rainbows! With cousin Peyton (who was great at scoring, she even had a hat trick one game!)

Pumpkin Patch

This last weekend we went with some families from our church to the Gilcrease Orchards. I am still not sure how this place grows fruit, veggies, and pumpkins in this heat! We had lots of fun picking out pumpkins and pears but it sure was HOT!! It's just not right to be doing fall things and have it be 100 degrees! We were dying of a heat stroke, and it was a little pricey but it's become a yearly tradition for us!

Sienna and Sadie thought they were so funny carrying this pumpkin that weighed almost as much as them.
Sienna picked out her tennis shoes and tutu dress. I have decided the battle is not worth fighting any longer!

picking pears
Waiting in the forever long line to buy the pumpkins. Typical day at our house: Sienna happy to bug her brother to death and him screaming. One day soon the tables will turn!
And this is how I found my little man tonight on his bed. He would not take a nap today and exhausted himself. I sure love these two little kids of mine, even if they drive me absolutely crazy. I'm grateful there mine.
And tonight I was lazy and didn't feel like making a dessert so I threw a Marie Calendars dutch apple pie in the oven for us and OH.MY.GOSH. I don't think I'll ever bake again. I'll just pop one of those in the oven, put a little whip cream on top and pure heaven!! (plus the kids were in bed due to no naps and playing all day which made it even better!!)
Until next time...

Bellagio Flower Gardens

Last week for family night we decided to head over to the Bellagio hotel and check out there fall display in the flower gardens. (My kids LOVE it and it's free!!) So off we went- it did not disappoint. After we walked around we went to the water show which is always fun to see!
